Peter R. Ulanowicz is a 2004 cum laude graduate of the St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida. Named to the Dean's List four times, Peter served as a member of the St. Thomas University Law Review. He received the "book award" in the subject of Legal Research and Writing, signifying he earned the highest grade in a class of approximately 60 students. Peter was also a member of Phi Alpha Delta and the Stephen Booher Inn of Court, which includes various law students, attorneys and judges in the South Florida area. He has been a licensed member of the Florida Bar since May 2005.
Peter was born and raised in Calvert County, Maryland. In 2001, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida.

Donna Ballman has just been signed by Behler Publications to author "You've Been Served: A Writer's Guide to the Courtroom."
The book, part of Behler's award-winning "Get it Write" series, will be a guide for novelists, screenwriters, and other writers on the ins and outs of the civil justice system. Expected release date for the book is December 2008. Ms. Ballman also serves on the Editorial Advisory Board for James Publications, a legal publisher, for their employment-related books. Ms. Ballman enjoys writing fiction, but she refuses to write legal thrillers, insisting that her fiction writing take her away from the law. Instead, she concentrates on writing children's books. She received third prize in the international Litopia Writer's Colony short story contest in June 2007, and a finalist award for children's writing in the 2006 South Florida Writer's Guild annual writing competition. She is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
